Transit visa is a type of temporary visa that is required from the citizens of some countries by the country to be transferred to international travels. If you have valid residence permit for Andorra or San Marino, which guarantees unconditional acceptance of the passport holder (visa is not sufficient), there is an exemption from the transit transit airport.

In order to obtain a transit visa for your travels to Germany, you must apply for the visa service with the travel route and details. You will need to apply for a transit visa at least 30 days before your trip.
If you don't have an official, diplomatic passport and you don't have a legal permit from the Schengen countries, you will need a German transit visa.
