Standard documents you need to prepare for your Italian tourist visa procedures; personal information and your reason for travel. The documents that vary according to your vocational status are the documents you need to prepare with reference from the workplace. In the following page, you can view the list of the current standard documents and the documents you need to submit according to your vocational/age (employee, freelancer, employer, retired, self-employed, student, housewife, under 18 years of age) status.

If the Italian travel expenses of housewives and students are to be covered by the first-degree relative, regular income and additional income documents of the person who will cover the expenses must be presented.

Standard Documents
Your passport mustn't be older than 10 years for Italy visa procedures. A passport with a validity of at least 3 months after the return date and with at least two blank visa pages must be presented. Applicants who have changed their surname because of to marriage or divorce must complete their application with their passport containing their current identity information.
If applicable, don't forget to include copies of your visas from Italy Schengen and other Schengen countries such as USA, UK, Australia, Ireland, Canada, Japan, New Zealand, which you have received in the last 3 years, to your application documents. The visa assessment can be made by considering the number, duration and correct usage of the visas you have already received. Depending on your previous visas, your visa application may be approved for a longer period. Please note that you must submit your previous visas.
If so, be sure to present the processed pages of your old passports.
All information on the Italian visa application form must be completed and signed by the applicant. Pages 3 and 4 of the Italian Schengen visa application form must be signed and the application date must be attached.
You must submit two biometric photos which should be in biometric size, with a background of white, not older than 6 months, measuring 35x45 mm and with a clear face.
Italy visa applicant must submit a bank account statement opened in his/ her name to apply for a visa. Your bank document must include 3 months account transactions. The bank statement should be opened in person on behalf of the applicant. Bank statements should include the last 3 months of account transactions. Please note that bank statements must be provided no later than 10 days before the visa application date. The person applying for a visa to Italy must submit a bank account statement opened in his/her name.
The bank statement should include retrospective 3 months account transactions. You must provide your bank statement no later than 10 days before the date of your visa appointment. There must be a personal account on behalf of each applicant. Each applicant must have a minimum balance of 5,000 Turkish Liras. Your bank statement must be stamped, wet signed by the bank and you will supply and submitted with the bank signature circular. Bank account documents provided as ATM printouts are not accepted.
For Schengen countries, you must present your original health insurance policy with a mandatory. The travel health insurance should have 30,000 Euro guarantee submission as a wet signature and seal. Your travel health insurance policy should be prepared to cover your travel dates.
You must present your flight reservations to Italy and, if applicable, other Schengen countries.
You must provide the appropriate documents for your accommodation in Italy. The tourist visa application won't be processed without your hotel reservation document. Hotel reservations must be arranged separately for each applicant. Reservations must include the name and surname of the applicant and be provided to cover your entire travel time.
You must submit some documents of your additional income and property such as house deeds, rent income, additional account statements and official documents.
The bank account document and passbook for the last three months must be presented. A bank statement should be provided within 10 days before the application date. The bank account must contain at least 5,000 TL.
The company you work for should include a letter which has your start date and the statement that you will continue to returning to work. Your visa request must include your travel date range and the dates on which you are permitted to work. The employer's letter should be presented as stamped and wet signed.
Your SSI service statement, which you will obtain by going to SSI or by barcode from e-government site, should include all your insurance history in the past. If the applicant is retired and still working, the SSI premium certificate must be submitted as an extra document.
Your "starting work document" which you will take from your company that you work in Turkey should provide a copy of your statement. You must obtain the document from your workplace as stamped and wet signed.
You must submit your original, belonging to three month, stamped and signed payroll.
For the Italy visa application from İzmir, salary must be obtained from the bank with stamped, wet signature and bank signature circular from the bank for the last 6 months.
If you aren't an employee of SSI, you must submit a Notary approved contract of employment with the company you work for.
Personal bank statement or wallet for the last three months must be submitted. Bank statements must be provided within 10 days of the appointment date. The bank account must contain at least 5,000 TL.
According to the activity of your company, the activity certificate of the company that you have to supply mustn't be older than 6 months.
A copy of the trade registry newspaper containing the company title and the information that the applicant is the founder or business partner must be submitted.

The Italian Schengen visa application form to be submitted for applicants under 18 must be signed by both parents. The Italian visa application form to be submitted for the applicant who hasn't reached the age of 18 must be signed by both mother and father.
If the applicant under the age of 18 does not travel with his / her parents, a consent document approved by the parents must be submitted. The content of the consent changes depending on the divorce status of the parents. Please ask your call center representative for your consent document.
For citizens of Turkey; Full Singular Census Population The sealed original of the registration sample must be submitted. The “thoughts” part of the population registration sample should be processed. The degree of kinship should be indicated on the sample of the first degree relative who will sponsor the student. Please provide this document to be approved by the Population Directorate in case of an Italian visa application from Izmir. The documents you will provide with the e-government password aren't accepted.
If the applicant is a student, the original student certificate must be obtained from the school where he / she is studying.
If the student's travel expenses are covered by first degree relatives, a petition must be submitted with a wet signed, legible, round trip date and a guarantee that the costs will be covered by the person.
Warning! Students and housewives are required to submit all income documents as specified by the vocational group, the person who will cover the expenses will applicant should prepare the documents like he/ she apply for visa personally even if they don't travel.
A personal bank account statement for the last three months must be submitted. The bank statement must be provided within 10 days of the date of the visa appointment and must be update. The bank account must contain at least 5,000 TL.
A document with barcode indicating your retirement status must be submitted from the SSI or by e-government.
Your Retirement Salary account must include the last 3 months of movement and should be presented with stamped and signed signature circular.
The bank account and the statement document, which have been obtained in the last 3 months, must be submitted as signed and stamped by adding the bank signature circular.
Italian visa applications which made from İzmir must be used in the past 6 months bank account statement at least 4000 TL. The document must be obtained from the bank with stamped, wet signed and bank signature circular.
The original copy of the registration document and the photocopy of the last 6 months registration should be presented. Photocopies of applicant's identity card and vocational identity card must be submitted.
A copy of the current tax chart for the last one year must be submitted.
A document showing the current payment earning by farming to be provided by the applicant from the agricultural chamber must be submitted.
For applications from Turkey, they will apply to foreign nationals (Syria, Iraq, China, Libya, Qatar, Iran and so on. passport holders) should have it translated into English or Italian documents issued by foreign public institutions. The processing time is 15 days for citizens of the foreigners. This period may take longer.
